The festival of lights is one of the most awaited throughout the year and once it arrives the joy is simply unparalleled. Although the happiness that one derives from other festivals is equally prominent but Diwali stands out purely because it tears the dark curtain of ignorance and lets the light of the knowledge pass through.
The world around us is under tremendous pressure for things that can be simply described as human folly. There are people who are sad, who are poor and who are lacking something while on the other hand there are people who are corrupt and those who are pure evil. However, there is hope in the form of Diwali.
This unique festival comes as a joy to those who are the meek. It comes as a wave that sweeps all negativity out of our souls and lets us peep into a better future.
Thus, on this auspicious occasion of Diwali, we hope that all of us prosper, stay healthy and remain happy as humans. More importantly, we pray for peace and harmony. Indeed we need a lot of peace in a time when corruption and greed is eroding our society.
