UP cops seize new currency worth 7.5 crore belonging to Ponty Chadha group

Lucknow: According to the information given by the sources, Uttar Pradesh police today confiscated new currency worth Rs 7.5 crore from two luxuries cars belonging to Ponty Chadha group at Daliganj crossing.

The three people who were present in the car were taken into police custody and are being investigated by the police in this matter. On the grounds of suspicion, police stopped the luxuries cars while checking other vehicles near the Hasanganj area of Lucknow.

The suspicion grew stronger when the cops found 3 cartoons which were packed with new currency worth Rs 7.5 crores in it. Police immediately seized all the cartoons and detained three people in the car and when they were interrogated by the cops, they told that they were heading to Haldwani with the amount.
