The stage is set for one of the most exciting battle in the cricketing world between India and Pakistan. It will be one of the most awaited matches for the cricket fans all round the world as arch rivals will face each other in the finals of the Champions trophy 2017 that will be played at The Oval, London.



Match is expected to be a high voltage one with defending champions India making their way to the finals in a comprehensive manner while on the other hand Pakistan who were seen as a weak side have also made their way to the finals.

Any clash between these two teams creates buzz among fans all over the world and Asian subcontinent sees a different craze all together for this Indo-Pak clash.



Pakistan’s head-to-head record against India in ODIs is 72-52, and if we talk about the clashes in ICC events we will make out that India have won seven out of the nine matches played against Pakistan. Keeping stats in mind we can assume that India will have the upper hand over Pakistan.

India got a comprehensive victory over Pakistan in their first match of league stage and then it was a wakeup for them as they suffered unexpected defeat from the Sri Lankan team.

Then in the virtual quarterfinals India registered a thumping victory against the world’s No.1 ODI side, South Africa. While Pakistan after facing a shameful defeat against India in their first match bounced back splendidly and defeated big guns like Proteas and Sri Lanka.

Pakistan team is riding high on confidence subsequent to their victory against England and is looking solid for the final match against India.

Mohammed Amir has been a major factor for the winning streak of Pakistan against quality sides. He was unfit for the semis and his inclusion in the playing XI for finals is still unsure. While veterans like Shoaib Malik and Mohammed Hafeez will try to play handy knocks for their team and bring their experience into play against India in the pressure game.

While for Men In Blue the opening duo of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan will play a decisive role as they both have been in sublime form since the start of this ICC event which eventually makes things easier for the Indian skipper and team.
