Mumbai: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s decision to promote his blockbuster “Raees” while boarding on train turned out to be fatal for one of his fans named Farid Khan Pathan. This move of SRK was severely criticized but surprisingly many from the entertainment industry came forward in his favor.
This incident took place five months ago and many videos went viral on the internet showing how his diehard fans went crazy to see their favorite superstar. There was huge crowd gathered at each and every station where SRK was expected to interact with his fans.
It was reported that Shah Rukh Khan took permission from the Western Railway Public Relations Officers (PRO) in Mumbai for the promotional activities but the agreement was to restrict his promotional activities inside the train. But in order to woo his fans SRK threw balls and T-Shirts towards his fans which created a huge chaos at the station. It created problems for those passengers who were there to catch their trains and had nothing to do with SRK.
“If Khan would not have thrown anything towards the crowd, chaos would not have happened. Thus, it would be right if a complaint under sections 304(A), 304 part 2, 279, 336, 337 and 338 of IPC and sections 145, 152, 175 and 179 of the Railway Act is registered against him and owners of Excel Entertainment Private Limited,” the report further suggested.
Amidst all these legal hassles King Khan is all set to promote his upcoming movie ‘Jab Harry met Sejal’ opposite Anushka Sharma.
