Mumbai: Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan, who was recently named one of the 100 most influential people of 2013 by Time magazine, will apparently meet US President Barack Obama for the second time.
Aamir is set to celebrate the achievement in New York as he has been invited for a celebratory dinner. The actor is currently shooting for his forthcoming flick Dhoom 3 hence he asked the makers of the movie for a break in order to to attend the ceremony.
Barack Obama was also included in the same list by Time and is expected to attend the ceremony organized in New York.
Earlier, Aamir met Obama during the latter's trip to India. If sources are to be believed, the President was impressed with the actor and asked him to promote his movie in USA.
"It was a real honour to be part of such a distinguished gathering. It was a very dignified and tasteful affair. I was seated on the same table as Vishwanathan Anand, who I am a big fan of. Mr Obama sent his regards to Kiran and said, Tell her we missed her. And Michelle Obama told me that she really enjoyed dancing to my song from Rang De Basanti," said Aamir.
Hearty congratulations to Aamir from team Pardaphash.
