Mumbai: Bollywood's blockbuster movie Aashiqui had hit the silver screen on July 23, 1990. It succeeded in winning many hearts and was loved by its audiences. Everyone, who went to watch the love-drama, was not able to stop himself from praising it. The success story of the film doesn't stop here as it's magic seems to be still alive even after 23 years.
The fact was proven when more than 18 lakh people watched the promo of the title track of 'Aashiqui 2' within 10 days of its release on the broadcasting website 'YouTube'. The much awaited romance-action-drama is being directed by Mohit Suri and expected to hit the big screen on May 10 this year.
So far the song has received 18,52,947 hit on YouTube and it has been only 10 days from its release on March 23. The song was launched under the label of T-Series.
The film is being produced under Vishesh Films. The first installment of the movie was also produced by the same banner in 1990.
The much popular song 'Tum Hi Ho' features 'London Dreams' fame Aditya Roy Kapur and Shakti Kapoor's daughter Shraddha Kapoor who made her Bollywood debut in Amitabh Bachchan starrer 'Teen Patti' in 2010.
The romantic song has been composed by Mithoon and has been voiced by Arijit Singh.
The track has also gone viral on the social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter. Facebook's pages are completely flooded with the video of the song.
The film consists 10 songs which are composed by Mithoon, Jeet Gangulli and Ankit Tiwary, while the awesome lyrics of those songs have been written by Irshad Kamil and Sandeep Nath together.
The 1990's blockbuster film's music was composed by Nadeem-Shravan which also had gone viral amongst the youths.
