ABCD AnyBody Can Dance trailer launch: Watch Video

Mumbai: India's first 3D dance film ABCD AnyBody Can Dance directed by Bollywood's well known choreographer Remo D'Souza unveiled its first trailer on Tuesday.

A UTV Motion Pictures' presentation, the film is a tribute to yesteryear's actors like Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna, Shammi Kapoor and Dev Anand as Remo has incorporated their signatures moves in the movie.

"We are planning to cut some special promos. For decades, these actors have made our country dance to their steps, which have become trademarks of sorts. A tribute to these legends in a film like ABCD seems apt," said Remo in a statement at the trailer launch.

The film takes its inspiration from dance reality show Dance India Dance which Remo judged earlier. While Remo takes up the megaphone, another ace choreographer Prabhu Deva features as the lead in the film.

"I only had an idea and I met Prabhu sir and said, 'Sir, I have an idea and I want you only. That's why I have come to you first and if you say yes, only then I'll start writing the script.' He instantly said yes after listening to the idea," Remo said.

ABCD also features Kay Kay Menon and choreographer Ganesh Acharya besides dancers Dharmesh, Salman Yusuff Khan, Mayuresh Wadkar and Vrushali Chavan. It hits theatres on February 8, 2013.
