Abhishek-Aishwarya to support UK based charity for diabetes

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan along with his wife and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has come forward to support the UK diabetes charity.

As per the reports, Abhishek and Ash will attend the 25th year anniversary celebrations of Britain’s MP Keith Vaz. The couple will also attend a dinner in support of the Leicester-based charity Silver Star and raise funds for the fourth mobile diabetes unit to be based in Mumbai.

The unit is to be named after Amitabh Bachchan, the charity's international patron, and handed over to him on his birthday October 11 this year. The charity was founded by Vaz who himself has type 2 diabetes.

Reports also reveal that the unit is to be named after Amitabh Bachchan, who is the charity’s international patron, and will hand over to the unit to megastar on October 11, his birthday.

Keith Vaz founded the charity who himself has type 2 diabetes.
