ACP thrashes Enrique concert organizers for not providing free passes

Pune: Where Enrique mesmerised people in his concert on Wednesday night, a flipside incident reveals the disgrace of police power. In a press release by organizers of the event “Only Much Louder”, the pestering of police was exposed. It explained how an ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police) VT Pawar beat up the organizers when they refused to let inside more of ACP’s guests even after giving ample of complimentary passes.

It was also learnt from the press release that ACP’s guest were even allowed to the ‘platinum’ area without pass where the tickets’ charge was Rs 8,000 and ACP prevented from letting them check. The argument bounced only when he brought another set of guests and tried to push them in without valid passes, the organizers disallowed them over which he started beating them.

Three organizers Vijay Nair, Manish Chandani and Rajesh Balpande were beaten up so bad that Balpande has apparently ruptured his ear drum and is having difficulty in hearing in the left ear.

It was reported that cops nuisance topped when police lathi charged at them which forced organizers for a press release explaining the reality of police. The press release sent a shockwave in the media industry and the act is being criticized at large.
