New Delhi: The time has come for all the medical aspirants to intensify their studies as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the All India pre-medical and pre-dental (AIPMT) entrance test for admissions to 15 percent seats in government colleges. The exam for the 2014-2015 session will be conducted on May 4, 2014, said an official statement on Tuesday.

The exams will be conducted all over India except in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir as these states hold their own state-level entrance test.

As per reports, "Subject to the final decision of the Supreme Court, the CBSE will conduct an AIPMT for admission to MBBS and BDS courses for the academic session 2014 to 2015, on May 4, to fill the 15 percent seats in government colleges."

The entrance test will consist of one paper with 180 objective type questions from subjects physics, chemistry, botany and zoology with 45 questions from each subject, added the statement.

The syllabus for the entrance examination would be the same as notified by the Medical Council of India (MCI) for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG).

Pardaphash wishes all the aspirants best of luck.
