Ajay Devgn makes Sonakshi gulp red chillies

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, who appears to be a serious chap, is actually a big time prankster and this came into light on the sets of his forthcoming film Son of Sardaar.

Sonakshi Sinha plays the female lead in the film and Sanjay will be seen as his over possessive brother. Ajay, along with Dutt challenged Sonakshi to eat chillies on the sets of the film. Needless to say, that our shotgun junior gladly embraced the challenge.

Sonakshi, who is known to have a sweet tooth surprised everyone as she ate 10 red chillies in one go.
A source close to the team said, "Sonakshi had just started shooting in Patiala with the rest of the crew and Ajay decided to play a prank on her. So Sanju baba and Ajay went to Sonakshi and challenged her to eat few chillies at once. Sonakshi started laughing and accepted the task." Now that's some sporting behaviour!

Talking of the her upcoming movie Son Of Sardaar, which barged into controversy because by being based on Sikhs, it has gained a fantastic hype by some scenes which were told to be controversial by some Sikh bodies (communities). Sikhs didn't take the promotions sportingly and alleged producer-actor Devgn, of depicting the community in a bad light.

As of now, Ajay assured them of film's fair motive and said, "My film Son of Sardar does not hurt anybody's sentiments. I'm from Punjab and I have a lot of respect for the community and culture as anyone else and the last thing I would do is to hurt anyone. In fact, I'm very proud of the community."

"At no point you will find any element of disrespect. The protagonist of the film is a Sardar, so the film will showcase a very positive projection of the community. If you could just wait for the release and then come up with your comments and opinion. Trust me, we all will be proud of the film," he added.

Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla will also be seen in the film with pivotal roles. SOS will hit silver screens with Shahrukh Khan's Jab Tak Hai Jaan on November 13.
