Khilladi 786 Akshay Kumar hit theatres

Mumbai: Bollywood's action hero Akshay Kumar is back to the genre which gave him name and fame in his early years in the tinsel town with his new release Khiladi 786.

Khiladi 786, is the eighth film in the Khiladi series after Khiladi (1992), Main Khiladi Tu Anari(1994), Sabse Bada Khiladi (1995) , Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), Mr And Mrs Khiladi (1997),International Khiladi (1999) and Khiladi 420 (2000).

This time the actor has teamed up with director Ashish R Mohan for Khildai 786. The movie also stars Asin, Mithun Chakraborty, Paresh Rawal, Raj Babar and Himesh Reshammiya.

According to Akshay, "I feel great about it. It had never gone away from me, I always used to do risks and it's great becauseKhiladi is a word which means a player, a sportsman. You can connect it with anything, so it's great coming back to it."

Recently, the movie was hitting the headlines after the Pakistan Censor Board banned its advertisements in the country because the number 786 is revered by some Muslims and it may hurt their sentiments.

The Censor Board also directed cinema halls and distributors not to release the movie's trailers and to remove billboards for the film. Akshay Kumar too has a very big following in Pakistan.

Twinkle Khanna, Himesh Reshammiya and Sunil Lulla has produced the action-comedy flick.
