"I had cleared all security checks... When the boarding began, I was asked to step outside the queue. The airline said that there was something wrong with my boarding pass," Kejriwal told media.
"Then I was told that I had been offloaded and my ticket had been sold to someone else. I asked them to give this to me in writing but they refused," he said.
Kejriwal was on his way to Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh to attend a public meeting at Kangra. The incident took place at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
"I believe there are some corrupt forces behind this," said Kejriwal, adding that his first priority was to get to Kangra and that he would take an overnight bus.
Team Anna supporters later protested outside the airline's office in south Delhi.
