Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor's on-platform film Barfi reminds of the old era. At least the trailers suggest the same. Rumors erupted that Ranbir and his opposite cast Priyanka Chopra were not having much of the dialogues but the story is just as different as we've heard.
Ranbir himself lately said that 'Barfi' is a special film, in fact one of the most special of his life. He also said that the movie is going to touch the hearts of all cinema lovers. And the news that he and Priyanka are keeping mum in the film is all not right. You will have to watch the film to say the least.
His appearance in the film reminds of the time when life wasn't such tech-savvy. It's a kind of off-shore cinema that is pleasant for eyes to see. Sometimes you don’t feel that charged up and then you feel like watching an out of the league movie. That's what Barfi, in its, first look, suggests.
Priyanka Chopra would also be seen in a not-so-glamorous role that she has been doing in the past.
The Anurag Basu directed film seems promising with its September 14 release. The film has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddhartha Roy Kapoor.
