Big B set to get a special birthday treat from Jaya Bachchan

Mumbai: As Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan turns 70 this year on October 11, wife Jaya Bachchan plans a bash for her man. It is estimated that about 1000 guests will be invited and Jaya has taken up the responsibility for all the arrangements. The whole Bollywood industry, political and socialites' fraternity have been informed in advance to mark Big B's birthday in their respective calendars and keep themselves free for the date. The occasion is important also because it marks Bachchan's 40 years in B-town. The actor shares the milestone with Rishi Kapoor, who turns 60 on September 4 and also completes his 40 years in the business. Reportedly, Kapoor family also planned a grand dinner for Chintu but the plan remains unexecuted as the actor has flown to Dubai with Neetu, Ranbir, daughter Riddhima and son in law Bharat.
A source close to Jaya, gave a sneak peek into her plans and said, "Jayaji is in charge of the entire celebration. She plans to have a 1000 member sit down dinner party for Amitji's birthday. The Bachchans found a suitable venue at a five-star location in the suburbs. However, there is a medical conference being held there on that date and attempts are being made to see if they can still get this location. International artistes will be flown down to perform and this may turn out to be the mother of all birthday celebrations ever hosted in Bollywood."
