New Delhi: One of India’s Nationalized Banks, Canara Bank has invited the applications for recruitment of Managers in Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II) – Specialist cadre. The candidates are required to go through the eligibility criteria and then apply for the posts.
The online application for the recruitment begun on February 8, 2014 and the applicants can register themselves till February 22, 2014. The aspirants can submit the application fee the last date of registration. Meanwhile, the on-line examination is most likely to take place on March 23, 2014.
Canara Bank has initiated the recruitment for 116 posts in different categories.
There are 75 posts for Manager Technical (Electrical / Mechanical), four posts for Manager Technical (Chemical), three posts for Manager Technical (Logistics), three posts for Manager Technical (Metallurgy), three for Manager Technical (Structural), three for Manager Technical (Textile), four posts for Manager Technical (Thermal) and 21 posts for Manager (Security).
To apply for the examination, the candidates’ age should be between 25 to 40 years as on 1 January 2014 for Manager – Security post, while for the remaining posts candidates’ age should not exceed 35 years as on 1 January 2014. The bank is also giving age relaxation as per government’s rules.

The application fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs 500 per registration while SC/ST/PWD candidates need to pay Rs. 100 for a registration.
The pay scale for these posts is Rs.19400 -700/1 – 20100 – 800/10 – 28100.
The selection of the qualified candidates will be done through Shortlisting and Group Discussion and/or Interview for Manager – Security Post. For the remaining posts, the recruitment will be done on the basis of marks in the examination and then Group Discussion and /or Interview.
