CBI likely to visit Saudi Arabia | Fasih Mohammed's extradition to be the agenda

New Delhi: A team from Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), is likely to visit Saudi Arabia, as the authorities there have informed the arrest of Fasih Mohammed, who is alleged to have been involved in the Chinnaswamy Stadium blast in Bangalore and the shooting incident near Jama Masjid (Delhi) in 2010.

Jundal is proving to be a treasure full of important information for Indian investigative agencies who are piecing together the missing link in the Mumbai attacks conspiracy.

CBI had asked Interpol to issue a Red Corner Notice against Fasih, on the request of Karnataka and Delhi Police, after which Saudi authorities have conveyed that he has been apprehended by them.

Fasih had been missing and his wife Nikhat Parveen has already approached the Supreme Court claiming her husband was in the custody of Central security agencies.

Parveen has moved to the Supreme Court alleging her husband was picked up by a joint team of Indian and Saudi officials on May 13, for his alleged terror links.
