Chennai: The health of twenty people who are on fast in Chennai for the past ten days to support social activist Anna Hazare in his battle against corruption said to be deteriorating, according to the reports of India Against Corruption (IAC).IAC is supporting Hazare in Delhi at the Ramlila ground.
Reports say that the condition of two people Shiv Elango (34) and Appaindravel (81) are serious among the people who are on fast.
Several other fasters are suffering from diarrhoea, abdominal cramps and other symptoms, says the report.
According to IAC media coordinator Banu Gomes, "There is a possibility of one more person fasting withdrawing on grounds of health."
Banu said that four people ended their fast after being defected with mild jaundice and now there condition is good and are doing well.
S Sujatha is the only woman on fast and is continuing her hunger strike for the 10th consecutive day.
