New Delhi: Conducted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE ), the CMAT (Common Management Aptitude Test) hall tickets are available online from September 17 onwards. A total of about 60,000 students will participate in the B-school examinations to be held from September 27 to October 1, 2012.
The test is conducted twice an year so that the students have an option of choosing the better score while applying to different institutes. The second round of test will be held in February 2013.
With the bulk of students applying for CMAT, the number of test centres have been increased to 64.
The entrance test is conducted for admissions to 4,000 MBA colleges and 500 other colleges which offer postgraduate diploma programmes in management.
The CMAT question paper is based on multiple choice questions divided into four sections. The exam duration is 3 hours. The questions will be based on:
- Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
- Logical Reasoning
- Language Comprehension
- General Awareness
Each section will have 25 questions. There shall be negative marking for every wrong answer.
The final results are expected by October 17.
