MUMBAI: Mercedes Benz, well known German luxury car-manufacturer has yesterday introduced luxury car Mercedes B class Sports Tourer under Rs25 Lakh pricing.In reference to this Debashis Mitra (Mercedes Benz India, Director Sales and Marketing) said, "The growth in the luxury car segment has been flat in the first eight months of the year. We sold around 7,500 units last calendar year and this year too, we are likely to end up with the same numbers."
Mercedes Benz B class Sports Tourer variant includes:
Petrol Version: Mercedes B 180 | Mercedes B 180 Sport
Price Range: Rs 21.49-24.87 Lakh
Presently, Market has demand of around 25,000 units in a year and after the launching of this Luxury car the demand is expected to reach around 2.5 lakh units by 2020.
Along with this it has been revealed that Mercedes would start assembling M-Class range at Pune plant from October.
