New Delhi: Announcing the date of next Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) stated on Tuesday that the exam will held on February 16, 2014.

Every year CBSE conducts the exam to recruit the aspirants for the post of school teachers for the classes 1st to 8th. It is to be known that CTET is one of the eligibility criteria for being chosen as a school teacher.

However, the board is yet to announce the details of the application process for CTET 2014.

It s to inform you that this year, the board had conducted the exam on July 28, 2013 which's result was declared on September 3, 2013. This year record 11 percent candidates qualified in the exam as compared to previous year's 1 percent. Around 9 lakh aspirants had participated in the exam this year.
