Deepika Padukone does not want to stick to a genre

MUMBAI: Riding high on the success of consecutive superhit films, the leggy lass, Deepika Padukone says that she is having a gala time experimenting with films. She says that currently she is working on two movies, whose scripts are way apart and she loves the state of affairs she copes while working with them.

Deepika stands stimulated with two of her upcoming films – Abbas-Mustan’s Race 2 and Ayan Mukherjee’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. She says, “They are two extremely different films to begin with, so each has its own fun. As an actor I want to explore as many emotions on-screen as possible and not stick to a genre just because it’s worked for me.”

She is contended with her career so far and feels happy to find out that audience has liked her through the films. “Be it an Aarakshan or a Cocktail, I am just glad that people have accepted me in all roles,” Deepika added.

The 26 year old informs that since she enjoys what she does therefore no issues stand taller for her and she manages time anyhow.

She will also be seen doing action sequences in Race 2 in which she refused a body double to carry out stunts scripted for her. “Things like these challenge you out of your comfort zone and keep you on your toes, so it’s something I look forward to as well,” she said as she explained her journey through the making of the action-thriller.

Apart from Deepika, film's cast includes Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Amisha Patel. The movie is set to release next year on January 25. The teaser of the film is already out and is grabbing attention, both on web and television.
