Mumbai: No, it’s not a film and those thinking that Deepika Padukone and John Abraham have went into a relationship or sorts are totally wrong as well, simply because they have different focus altogether for their respective partners, although we are not clear on Deepika’s part but here is the bone, Deepika has now joined Yamaha as their brand ambassador for a new range of products, oriented for girls and she will be helping the two wheel major, of which John Abraham is already a face, ground its feet deep into the scooter market.
Mostly, it has been seen that there is one face attached to the brand who is seen at most occasions - promoting the brand, but now Yamaha Motor India comes with a new strategy, and it is to imbibe the desire of having their products in the hearts of its buyers (mostly girls and women).
Deepika Padukone will be promoting Yamaha Ray. She would be soon seen in an ad where she would try to apprehend and bend the decision of buyers towards Yamaha. According to a source from the company, “John and Deepika, collectively will add strength to the product lineup of the company.”
According to the actress, for whom this is the first time, when she would be endorsing an automobile brand, says that the attachment to the company is exciting and the image of the scooter will gel easily with her image, for the brand is “cool” and the scooters are attractive and “will appeal to the buyers”.
