Ek Tha Tiger ticket row: Salman Khan disheartened for fans

Mumbai: The ticket price hike has taken Salman Khan aback and he feels that his fans will have to shell out more to watch his upcoming flick Ek Tha Tiger in a multiplex.

But Salman also said that the price will come down eventually a few days after the film's release on August 15.

"I don't think it (price hike) is right, but being Aug 15 and much hype around the film, the prices have been increased. Moreover, the film is coming out after a year. I don't know what to say on this, I can't do anything about it," said Salman.

Multiplex chains have reportedly decided to cash in on the buzz around the Salman-Katrina Kaif starrer by levying a 12 to 16 per cent hike in their ticket prices.

"I think it (price rise of tickets) is there for three days or so, then eventually the prices will come down," he added.
