Mumbai: For all you pop music lovers out there, here’s a chance to meet the maestro of pop and soft music known as Enrique Iglesias in your very own country.
Yes, we would confirm this for you. Renowned and much celebrated International music star Enrique Iglesias would be in India the next month with his soulful and catchy voice. The star would be mesmerizing the audiences in not just one or two but three cities of the nation this time.
The star, who has more number of fans in India than the rest of the world, would be gripping the music goers of three cities including Bangaluru where he would be performing on October 17, capital New Delhi on October 19 and his final halt would be on October 21 in Pune.
Talking about the unavailability of venue in Mumbai, Vijay Nair, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Only Much Louder, said, “Getting a good venue in Mumbai is like a nightmare. Pune has a lot of positive points in terms of great venues and a good college-going crowd. And people from Mumbai donâ€™t really mind travelling to Pune to attend a big concert.”
Enrique, who last performed in India in 2004, says, “It’s been a long time since then (2004) and I have been dying to come back and perform in front of one of the best and craziest crowds in the world!”
“I’m excited about this visit and promise to put up a great show and do my best so everyone has a great time; itâ€™s going to be awesome,” He adds.
The event organizers had made the late on Saturday night finally puts to rest the rumored and much-anticipated visit.
Nair added explaining the tour details, “We had been planning this for a long time. The India tour coincides with Enrique’s Middle-East tour Dubai and Turkey. It will also be a good chance for a lot of his younger fans to watch him live for the first time.”
