Ford Fiesta facelift to roll out in India before Europe

Ford along with EcoSport has planned this strategy to launch it in Brazilian market and later to China and India. However, Europe will remain in the pipeline.
The new Fiesta has a redesigned foglamp, along with narrow headlights and lower intakes. Car's inspiration from Aston Martin grille is a much debated issue.
Michael Boneham, Ford India's President and Managing Director, lately said, "Ford India would follow its own product lifecycles and won’t respond to knee jerk reactions. We believe this is his way of saying that Ford India will not be interested to bring the facelift before the Fiesta hits its mid-life period in India."
The facelift is set to be launched at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The key feature of the improved version is the engine transplant. The Fiesta will get the 1L Ecoboost engine and the 1.5L engine that premiered on the Indian model last year, will be used across the world.
The interior is modified with larger LCD display and more ergonomic controls. Further vehicle details will be known at the Paris Motor Show.
