IAF's MiG-27ML aircraft on display to woo tourists

An Eastern Air Command official reportedly said, "The move to put up the MiG-27ML fighter aircraft at the entrance of the Advance Landing Ground in Upper Shillong has been done to attract more tourists."
He further informed that MiG-27ML was introduced into service in the 80s and has flown nearly 2,000 hours.
Other IAF aircraft put for display at the entrance to woo tourists include:
Hawker Hunter
Caribou
Iskra trainer aircraft
Mi-4 helicopter
As per reports, few other aircrafts like DHC-3 Otter and HAL-built HJT-16 are in the pipeline for display.
