Kanpur: All hypes in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) may soon come to halt as the way seems to be cleared for making changes in the world's one of the most reputed exams. With the nod of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, the new pattern would soon be implemented. Dropping the idea to confront over the issue, most of the members of the IIT Kanpur's senate have agreed to the latest prescribed pattern.

Along with this, it is almost confirmed that the confirmation on the changes of the pattern of the examination would be stamped in the July 28 meeting of academic senate.

The members of the IIT Kanpur's academic senate have agreed to withdraw their stand as they are not getting the support from the rest of the IITs. Members allege that, just by the confrontation of IIT Kanpur and IIT Delhi, they are not going to attain anything. The rest of the IITs should have also supported. And with the new pattern, teachers at the IIT Kanpur are not going to be bothered in any which way.

They have also said that they don't want the students from 42 state boards to suffer due to this.

Talking over the issue, Professor Deepak Gupta and Professor YN Singh said, "The new pattern could only be brought into working when all the academic senates from IITs stamp their consideration for the same. IIT Kanpur's academic senate would be having a discussion over it on July 28."
