Lucknow: To select another member to fill in the space created after the demise of Mr Brijbhushan in the Rajya Sabha, the Election Commission of India has essayed out the following protocol to be carry out during the elections.1. Notification of Nomination: June 8, 2012 (Friday)
2. Last Date for Nomination: June 15, 2012 (Friday)
3. Inquest for the notification of nomination: June 16, 2012 (Saturday)
4. Last date for withdrawal of name: June 18, 2012 (Monday)
5. Voting Date: June 25, 2012 (Monday)
6. Voting Timings: 9am to 4pm
7. Date for Vote Counting: June 25, 2012 (Monday) From 5 pm onwards
8. The day on which the voting process will be completed: June 27, 2012 (Wednesday)
The above mentioned has been notified from the office of Chief Electoral Officer.
