Indion Idol 6 may rope in AR Rahman as fourth judge!

Mumbai: The sixth edition of the Television singing reality show Indian Idol is commencing on Sony from June 1. Unlike the last five seasons, reportedly Indian Idol’s fifth season will be judged by four judges namely Anu Malik, Sunidhi Chauhan, Salim Merchant and last but definitely not the least A R Rahman!It is reported that makers of the show have approached Rahman to judge the show but they are still waiting for the Music maestro’s response.
As per a leading daily, a source reveals, “Rahman has been approached but he hasn’t reverted. Indian Idol 6 will begin next month with the auditions that will air for almost a month. If Rahman comes on board, then he will be seen in the Gala round (second round of selections).”
If Rahman joins the judges’ panel, contestants definitely will have to face hard times as they have to be more accurate with their singing.
