Mumbai: Bollywood's renowned actor Juhi Chawla turns 45 today. She will celebrate this auspicious day along with festivals of lights Diwali and release of her movie Son of Sardar.

She was born in 1967 in Haryana, India in family of Dr S Chawla and Mona Chawla. She won Miss India title in 1984 and debuted in the movie Sultanat. She hit Bollywood height with smash hit 1986 movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak with co-star Aamir Khan.

She gave matchless performance in movie like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Ram Jaane, Yes Boss , Goonj , Pratibandh , Aiana, Darr, Darar, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke , Jhooth Bole Kauva Kate, Ishq, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, 3 Deewarein, My brother Nikhil , Bas Ek Pal, and I am . She won national award for I am.

"This character in SOS somewhere takes me back to time, when I did lighthearted movies. I am happy and excited about this movie. I hope the audience likes it," she said just prior to release of movie.
