Kamal Haasan sets launch pad for Mani Ratnam's son

Mumbai: Acclaimed actor-director Kamal Haasan who is all set for his Hollywood debut, is also launching well known filmmaker Mani Ratnam's son Nandhan through the project.Kamal is set to work with Lord of The Rings Producer Barrie M Osborne and he made sure that Nandhan is a part of his forthcoming film's production team. The filming is expected to start in late 2013 and the lad will join the crew as production coordinator. Kamal and Ratnam have been together since their joint venture Nayagan.
As of now, Kamal is awaiting the release of his much anticipated film Viswaroopam. The Tamil-Hindi spy thriller is directed by the star himself and is set to release on Janauary 11, 2013.
Apart from Haasan, actor Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Rahul Bose and Jaideep Ahlawat will also be seen in the film.
