Mumbai: The gorgeous actress Kareena Kapoor is said to be extremely busy shooting for her upcoming venture, 'Heroine', and therefore was unable to attend her one time closest friend Esha Deol's marriage ceremony. Sources revealed that the cold vibes shared by the two actresses on some unknown topic that had started a few years back, has not been ironed out yet and that's the possible reason why Kareena was not visible at the bash.

Kareena and Esha have both drifted apart few years back. It was a well known fact that once upon a time, these two actresses were close friends and had shared an immense bonding with each other while the shooting of the hit film 'Yuva'.

They shared a special relationship and were always in contact even on trifle matters. They also looked up for each other in times of need. They even pay heavy phone bills just because both used to chat for hours on mobile phone. But slowly they fell out of their friendship and are not in talking terms for the last few years. It is being reported that couple of years ago, Kareena had said something about Esha, at a night club, which had hurt her deeply and since then both have maintained a dignified distance from each other.

The source informs to leading daily, "But this time at her wedding, Esha did try to forget the past and showed her will to invite Kareena and her family. An invitation was personally delivered through Esha's secretary and she extended the olive branch to her one time close friend Bebo through a mutual friend. But she refrained herself from calling Kareena personally which depicts that the rift hasn't been healed yet."

Kareena was also asked the reason for not attending her wedding function and actress said, "I am busy completing shoots for my flick 'Heroine' and right now I am in Thailand and won�t be back till July 5. My heartiest congratulations to Esha on her wedding and I wish her all the luck for the future. She has invited me and my family for the ceremony. My friend Reena was informed of the occasion and Esha's secretary had sent the invite personally but I am unable to oblige as both I and Saif are abroad right now."

Well Kareena, we understand that you are a busy star but you also should also understand that it was Esha's most important day of her life and your presence indeed would have cheered her up.
