Laila Khan and family were deceased: Jammu Police

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir police has informed that the actress, Laila Khan, who had been missing from the past 11 months, has been shot dead. It was revealed after an interrogation course of Parvez Tak, that Laila was killed along with her family members.

Tak told that the Khans were killed outside Mumbai by three men. The reason for the killings has emerged to be a property dispute. Tak is Khan’s family friend, who is currently under the custody of the local police. Laila’s father, Nadir Patel filed a complaint of kidnapping against Tak in the Mumbai Police Station.

The complaint includes the kidnapping of Laila, her mother Shelina Patel (50), elder sister Hazmina, twin siblings Zara and Imran and another kin in February last year from her flat in Oshiwara, Mumbai. The Crime Branch squad of the Mumbai Police has left for Jammu to seek custody.

Laila Khan was last seen with Rajesh Khanna in the film, Wafa- The Deadly Love Story, where Rajesh Khanna was criticized for steaming up the frame, with an actress much younger to him. The Pakistani actress was married to Munir Khan, a member of the Bangladeshi terror outfit Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami.
