Maharashtra SSC class 10 Results 2012: Girls bag 82.96%, boys steal 79.90%

To comfort students, SSC class 10 results 2012 are declared on 10 websites. Students may check their result over the Board�s official website http://mahresult.nic.in/ssc2012/ssc12.htm.
Maharashtra Board SSC class 10 results 2012 data:
Total of 796586 male candidates and 689114 female candidates appeared in class 10 SSC examinations out of which 636468 males and 571702 females passed the exams. In percent it can be evaluated as passing percentage of males stands 79.90% and 82.96% females.
Meanwhile there were two big divisions Mumbai and Pune under MSBSHSE. The data for these two divisions read as:
Pune:
Total number of students appeared (male): 130791
Total number of students appeared (Female): 109689
Total number of male passed: 117606 (89.92%)
Total number of female passed: 100527 (91.65%)
Mumbai:
Total number of students appeared (male): 162978
Total number of students appeared (Female): 148358
Total number of male passed: 143688 (88.16%)
Total number of female passed: 133213 (89.79%)
What brought cheers on faces of lakhs of students, is the advisory released by board for students who are looking for their admissions in the first year junior college (FYJC). The state education department asked schools to accept the internet print out copies of mark sheets. With this move, students will not have to wait for long for their admissions.
Earlier, after passing class 10 exams, students had to wait for their mark sheets. Once they have the original copy of their mark sheet, they are liable for getting admitted for class 11.
Total of 17 lakh students appeared for the SSC class 10 examinations in 2012.
