New Delhi: All political parties have given their remarks over the 84-Kosi-Yatra but it’s now time to speak for Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, who terms this yatra and riots as a medium to garner votes.

Mulayam Singh Yadav on Monday said before the Parliament, “BJP by criticizing the UP government has proven that it has scant regard for law of the land and the courts. They want to garner votes through ‘danga’ (riots)’ and added that the common man and the seers have not supported the yatra.”

He also clarified that no one was injured or assaulted. We just did not allowed them from going there (Ayodhya).

Mulayam Singh Yadav also made it clear that the Uttar Pradesh government has only upheld the Supreme Court’s order that status quo be maintain at Ayodhya till it decides on the Ram Janmbhoomi case.

Samajwadi Party chief not just gave explanation for the ban over Yatra but also accused the opposition (BJP) for the attacks that were made over his party office.
