Mohinder Singh, SK Dwivedi comes under Noida scam net

Noida: The past Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) government under the Mayawati rule had scattered the seeds of corruption which the current Akhilesh Yadav ruled SP government is drilling out to uncover their deeds. An instance to it is the 1000 cr Noida scam. The whooping scam, which was made possible by former chief engineer of Noida Authority Yadav Singh, is emerging out a big one.

After Yadav Singh, Noida Authority’s CO Captain SK Dwivedi’s and chairman Mohinder Singh’s name has been linked to the scam. After a departmental inquiry revealed that Yadav Singh sanctioned work worth Rs 1,000 crore in just eight days, blatantly flouting tender norms and ignoring warnings, Noida Authority not just suspended him but also filed an FIR against him on Wednesday.

Sources say that for the execution of infrastructure projects, every year, a budget of around Rs 2000 crore was passed. But close of former BSP government Yadav, with the help of few senior officials, gulped Rs 1000 crore. This swindling of amount has been considered as the largest departmental scam in UP made by any government.

Yadav Singh abducted after the FIR was lodged under the irregularities made in government funds. Also Chairman Mohinder Singh took leave and went to his native state Punjab. An FIR has also been lodged against the two Ghaziabad-based construction companies — Tirupati and JSP — under various sections in the case lodged at Sector 39 police station.

Yadav is alleged of swindling Rs 200 crore by joining hands with contractors. It has also been revealed that Yadav made payments though no work was done. The payment was not a meager one instead Rs 200 crore was paid through 964 bonds.

We are tend to inform you that term of services of Mohinder Singh will end next month and hence the corruption charges laden on him could increase his troubles.
