New online portal will help you to shop best at cheapest!

New Delhi: You must be on many occasions get deceived while shopping online specially related to price tags. But now consumers will be able to track online discount deals on various brands even in their neighbourhood stores with the help of a new portal launched on Tuesday.

The online deals portal -- Deal Hunter -- launched by group buying portal mydala.com will initially offer services in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune, and will be rolled out in other cities gradually.

"You need not worry anymore about missing any sale going on in the city. Mydala.com has now introduced India's first and largest deal directory, Mydala Deal Hunter, which lets you search for ongoing sale offers in your neighbourhood," the company said in a statement issued here.

The portal currently features as many as 12,660 deals with many more being added every minute. It also offers users the option of switching between a map view and a list view for their searched deals.

Users can browse through the sale deals by categories such as restaurants, health and beauty, travel, lifestyle, fashion, home and baby and gadgets.

"Deal Hunter is the outcome of more than six months of our research and efforts. As a unique concept, Deal Hunter offers a much-needed solution to a retail void that is a win-win for merchants as well as buyers, just like Mydala," said Anisha Singh, founder and chief executive officer, mydala.com.

"Deal Hunter does all the legwork for consumers. While buyers need not worry about missing a sale, merchants can ensure that more and more people are about to take advantage of the offer period, thereby increasing their sale volumes," she added.

Deal Hunter uses proprietary software to aggregate sale deals, and also leverages user generated content to ensure that the listed deals are most current at any given time.

Users can also earn 250 mydala points equivalent to Rs.25 worth of shopping on mydala.com for every sale that they add to Deal Hunter.
