Nirmal baba postpones his samagams | Scared of media drilling?

New Delhi: It seems Nirmaljit Singh Narula globally known as Nirmal baba wants to play safe after an arrest warrant issued against him. Though the Patna High Court later stayed the further operation over his NBW but baba now, is taking every step carefully. As per reports, four of Babas samagams (assembly) to be held on June 9, 10, 16 and 17 in Delhi have been postponed.

Nirmal baba had been in news from quite long for his alleged cheating cases and for giving impractical solutions to superstitious country people. The reason behind delaying the samagam dates is not known but authorities have decided to give back the money to people registered for samagams.

One reason believed behind babas such act is staying away from the media spotlight. Earlier Pardaphash has asked a simple question to baba in which we tend to know where does baba spends the handsome sum he collects. But in reply Pardaphash received a legal notice. Team pardaphash, since then is drilling out facts against spiritual turned controversial guru.

Not only us but baba faced criticism for abetting superstition in the society. On the other hand, the official release issued by Nirmal Baba's Durbar states that the rescheduling has happened due to legal issues and poor weather in the capital.

Earlier the Delhi High Court served notice to the central and Delhi governments seeking their replies on a petition for prosecution of Nirmal baba who is allegedly duping people by offering "magic treatment" to patients.

The division bench of Acting Chief Justice A.K. Sikri and Justice R.S. Endlaw sought response from the governments by July 4 and asked petitioner A.K. Jain to make city-based Nirmal Baba a party in the case.

The petitioner alleged that Nirmal Baba had been advertising in different electronic and print media claiming to offer "magical treatment" while claiming himself to be a "representative of god".
