Lucknow: The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) can't stay away from controversies. Yes, the Uttar Pradesh's rural health department has, itself, been in ailing health condition in the past few years and doesn't even seem to be getting out of it.

Despite the scam-gripped department getting a number of nudges from it's employees and also resulting in a number of deaths, it has once again come with a brand new mistake that is also a result of the hullabaloo that has skirted it.

A number of transfers have been made since the former Chief Minister Mayawati's regime, and names have also been changed on the nameplates, but the department’s website speaks volumes of the sluggishness and awareness as it still has Anant Kumar Mishra’s name as minister and not of Ahmad Hasan who is the new minister for the department.

Not only this, as per the website, Pradeep Shukla, who is the main accused in the NRHM’s multimillion scam and has recently got out of jail, is still the principal secretary of the department.

However, it must be admitted here that this is not the first time that such a flaw has been found on a government website; rather this has happened earlier as well. But as far as this mistake is concerned, it’s not just misguiding the visitors, but also spreading rumors against the department and also degrading the department’s reputation.

Regular updates for the websites are important as the government websites reflect the functioning of the whole country.
