New Delhi: The rankings of the top universities around the world have been released by QS World University Rankings and it is a disappointment for India, that not even a single university from the country, was able to prove itself worthy enough to appear on the list comprising of 200 universities. It comes as quite a shock, as names from India have often surfaced as the most laborious and among the excellent students in many of the universities' dockets. The list was topped by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, second place was taken by the University Of Cambridge, UK and third position was grabbed by the Harvard University, US.
The top ten Universities are as below:
1. Massachusetts Institute of Technology, US
2. University of Cambridge, UK
3. Harvard University, US
4. UCL (University College London), UK
5. University of Oxford, UK
6. Imperial College London, UK
7. Yale University, US
8. University of Chicago, US
9. Princeton University, US
10. California Institute of Technology, Caltech, US
