Now, Get Over The Moon By Getting Over The Moon

Washington: Now, you, too, can go ‘over the moon’ with the help of few former NASA employees who have come up with a launch of a private venture to send people to the moon. The journey would be priced at whopping 1.5 billion dollars.

The recently formed business is offering countries a two-person trip to the moon.

The last trip of NASA came 40 years ago, and the US was the only country that used to land humans on the moon beating the Soviet Union in a space race on the celestial body that transfixed the world.

President Barack Obama also cancelled NASA’s logical venture to the moon, stating that America had already been there, say reports.

As per the reports pouring in from the US, the firm has talked to the other countries including South Africa, South Korea, and Japan, revealed the former NASA associate administrator Alan Stern, who also happens to be the president of the new Golden Spike Company.

A number of private space companies have started up freshly, but few if any will make it, just like in other fields, said Harvard astronomer Jonathan McDowell, who tracks launches worldwide, it added.
