Now science lessons on Facebook

London: The Royal Albert Hall, a place which has seen history many times, will be a part of it once again when school children will be taught a science lesson through Facebook.

Dallas Campbell and Yan Wong, presenters of BBC show Bang Goes The Theory, will deliver the lesson, investigating "the science of sound", to classrooms in Britain and abroad. The Royal Albert Hall said that the class, due to take place on the social networking website in October, was part of an aim to inspire children to get involved in the arts and sciences.

Lucy Noble, head of programming and education at the music venue, said that it hoped "the world's first science lesson broadcast live to classrooms via Facebook", would be the first of many. The social networking giant in its new role will inspire many to follow its foot step as this initiative may help a lot of poor children in attaining basic education for a better future.
