Out of 75 girl students, 4 raped, 11 molested by teacher, watchman
: The police has arrested a teacher and a watchman of a school where girls were being molested and in some case raped for over a year in Naharpur. All the victims in this case are minor.

Kanker (Chhattisgarh): The police has arrested a teacher and a watchman of a school where girls were being molested and in some case raped for over a year in Naharpur. All the victims in this case are minor.Reports of molestation in the government ashram, where 75 girls are enrolled, arrived to the police post which the police conducted an investigation. They sought for medical reports of the students in which it was found that 11 of the 75 were molested and 4 of those 11 were raped as well.
"We got a complaint that a watchman and a teacher did wrong... We immediately took action through our women officers," said Aller Manger, district collector. While Additional Superintendent of Police, Kanker, CD Tondon said, "We got a complaint about molestation. A teacher and watchman harassed her... We are investigating."
Reports of rape attempts on minor are surfacing on a daily basis. So much of outcry has been experienced across the nation after the Delhi gangrape case but it seems that everything that has been done is not enough and requires strict perambulation over the issue. Government is numb towards the state of women in the country.
