Lucknow: State Government has given its nod to initiate its probe into the Sugar Mill Scam after Pardaphash’s intriguing. Previously, CM Akhilesh Yadav and other ministers holding important seats confused all by giving a contrary speech in the matter but Pardaphash kept a hawk eye into the scam and time to time, updated the developments made by the state government and also surfaced with hidden facts of the Sugar Mill Scam. The involvement of Ponty Chaddha and Naseemuddin Siddiqui is quite clear here. The way the Mayawati led previous government carried out the auction of sugar mills, it is obvious that the ministers rendered out the auctions of 10 Sugar Mills (in working conditions) at very low-priced rates.
Pardaphash has kept a track into the same, since the time these mills were auctioned (suffering the loss) by the BSP government to liquor baron, Ponty Chaddha and the nexus between the government and Ponty was made evident. The CAG report unearthed the swindling of money in auctioning of mills. To put down the fingers pointing towards them, the SP government got ready to start the investigation into the matter.
Senior state minister, Shivpal Yadav made it clear that the miscreants, whether a minister or a government official, will not be spared and may serve jail-term. He even marked his point that if Mayawati involvement is found in this scam, then she will too face the same consequences. He also informed that BSP government in its 5 years of serving did not installed a single sugar mill, instead it sold 21 sugar mills at inexpensive rates which were in good working conditions, to benefit the scammers from the deal.
