During the BSP rule, Sehgal played a major part in its running as he was very close to the party chief. Mayawati listened to Sehgal more than her own ministers and legislators. Pardaphash, in the past, had disclosed many misdeeds of the corrupt IAS but further evidences and revelations from few more have stamped the authenticity of our initiative.
A witness in the case, Girish Malik reveals that former minister Babu Singh Kushwaha and MLC RP Jaiswal was given a sum of Rs. 42 lakhs inside the Bungalow number 13, Mall Avenue that belongs to Mayawati. Malik said that the amount given to Kushwaha and Jaiswal was received from Naresh Grover, Owner, Surgican Mediquip and RK Singh who gave Rs. 30 lakh and Rs. 12 lakh respectively.
Malik further disclosed that the amount eventually was given to Navneet Sehgal by PK Jain, General Manager, CNDS. The further talks on the case will be held on November 19.
Malik gave his statement in the special CBI court in front of Babu Singh Kushwaha and few other accused. Malik in his statement further said that in June 2009, Surgican Mediquip owner Naresh Grover talked him about the advancement of Operation Theaters in 134 hospitals across state.
He said, "Kushwaha and Jaiswal asked me and my colleague Manvendra Chaddha to give 1/3rd of the amount that would be incurred on the complete project to receive the contract."
Few important reports from Team Pardaphash
January 4, 2012
The CBI raid on the home of PK Jain unearthed Rs 1.10 crore in cash and three kilos of gold, proves true our two months old report on 100 UP engineers having accumulated crores of illegal wealth under the Mayawati rule.
The Wednesday raid by CBI was part of similar swoop down on various locations in the NRHM scam.
However, Jain is not the biggest fish of this dirty pond. According to sources, the chairman of CNDS Navneet Sehgal, former director Paricheta and current director PK Bhukesh are far deeply involved in the NRHM scam than Jain himself.
Sources say that not a single tender of the CNDS was passed without the permission of Sehgal and Bhukesh. Other officials like present GM NP Singh, CGM Bharat Singh and GM Jatav too colluded with their corrupt bosses.
If sources are to be believed then the chairman of CNDS duped the government treasury of crores of rupees along with these officers.
PACCFED and the top engineers of UPPCL are not far behind CNDS in corrupt activities. If the CBI takes action against these nodal agencies and officers then the investigation in the NRHM scam will get a big boost.
Sources tell Pardaphash that if the CBI was able to find so much illegal wealth from the home of one GM then raids on the houses of the other officials of CNDS will surely yield bigger result.
