Dabangg fame director Abhinav Kashyap who was eager to cast new entrant Alia Bhatt as heroin in his forthcoming film Besharam, seems to be finalizing the promising Parineeti Chopra.

Alia was reportedly busy shooting for her debut film Student of the year directed by Karan Johar and have impressed him with her acting skills.

Abhinav decided to audition few other actresses for the role but none of them appealed to him. The sources close to Abhinav inform that film will go to floors by October and they haven't finalized the female lead. Kashyap who is keen on getting Alia to project is reportedly waiting for conformation.

On the other hand he doesn't want to delay the project also. That's why he took audition of few other actresses and finally settled for Parineeti. Although, he is impressed with her works in the last two films also but have yet to take decision.

However, Abhinav and Ranbir are jointly going to decide female lead for movie. So, an announcement worth waiting!
