Bal Thackeray's demise great loss for India: Poonam Pandey

Mumbai: Model turned actor Poonam Pandey, popularly known for her bold acts, expressed grief over the death of Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray.

The former Kingfisher girl took to Twitter and revealed that the shooting for her upcoming Bollywood debut Nasha is cancelled because of the sudden demise of Bal Thackeray.

"Great loss for Maharashtra n India. RIP Balasaheb... The Tiger will roar no more and we will not shoot for #NASHA tomorrow," tweeted Poonam.

Pandey stated that the shooting will start after Thackeray's cremation.

"Respect for #BalThackeray. Shooting for #Nasha will resume after paying respects," she tweeted.

Bal Thackeray passed away on Saturday afternoon after prolong illness. His last rites will be performed on Sunday amid tight security at Shivaji Park.
