Pran is Not Dead

Mumbai: The most popular social networking websites Facebook and Twitter users are spreading the false rumours of veteran actor Pran’s death. But, all these chitchat stories are false and the all-time great is recovering in Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra in Mumbai.

The buzz has struck the fans of the actor very badly and they are praying for the long life of their favourite and posting them on their Twitter and Facebook statuses.

Actor Divya Dutta was very furious when she came to know about the gossips about his death. She posted on his Twitter account praying for his long life, “Gota call frm a journo fr comments on Pran saheb!he shocked me by t info!glad he was wronng!hope n pray fr his long life!”

Earlier, the veteran actor was admitted to Lilavati Hospital for check-up later it turned to be a breathing problem. But he is absolutely fine and there are no concerns regarding his health.

Lilavati Hospital spokesperson Dr. Sudhir Dagaokar said, “Pran was admitted to the hospital for check-up which turned out to be a respiratory problem. But, now he is improving well and totally fine. There is nothing to worry.”

The actor is aging 92 years now and has been featured in around 350-films. At one stage of Bollywood, he was the favourite choice for producers and directors for the role of a villain.

He has been honoured with ‘Padma Bhushan’ for his outstanding contribution to cinema. His acting was always praised by his audience. ‘Khandaan’, ‘Aurat’, ‘Bari Bahen’, ‘Jis Desh Men Ganga Bahti Hai’, ‘Purab Aur Paschim’, ‘Half-Ticket’, ‘Upkar’, ‘Don’ and ‘Zanjeer’ were his most popular films of all time.
