Mumbai: Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra turns 30 today and is all set to have a blast in Ibiza, Spain with some special friends. Born in Jamshedpur, Bihar, Priyanka started her career as a model; she came into notice only after winning the Miss World title in 2000.

Fondly knows as PeeCee, the actress started her acting career in 2002 with Tamil film Thamizhan, the very next year, she made an entry in Bollywood with actor Sunny Deol in the film The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. Her career kick started from there and she gave a number of hits like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Waqt: A Race Against Time, Krrish and Don.

She was widely acclaimed for her movies like Aitraaz and Fashion. PeeCee has bagged awards like Filmfare Best Female Debut Award for Andaaz in 2003, Filmfare Best Villain Award for Aitraaz in 2005, Filmfare Best Actress Award for Fashion in 2009. Filmfare Critic Award for Best Actress for the film 7 Khoon Maaf.

The actress has also been instrumental in humanitarian work with her support to several charitable organizations. Apart from acting and modeling, Priyanka is also trained in western classical singing. She had plans to launch her musical album for long but when it came to balancing it with her films, the idea was always subsided. But finally she managed to sign a recording agreement with Universal Music and Desi Hits last year. At present the actress is busy recording for her album. Reportedly, Priyanka will also lend her voice to Hindi numbers in Apoorva Lakhia's Zanjeer remake.

Barfi is her upcoming film with actor Ranbir Kapoor in which she is essaying yet another challenging role by playing a mentally challenged girl. We hope that once again Priyanka will impress her fans with her attitude and talent.
